Why this blog?

Even though I use nice DSLRs in my job, I love the freedom I get with a point-and-shoot camera. They are reminiscent of the old rangerfinder 35mm cameras. Today's P&S camera are easy to use and often give great images without being bulky or intrusive.

My goal here is to explore what can be done with these small but wonderful cameras.

My Right Foot

Ok, it's not the most interesting subject I've found, but when you walk in the same park almost everyday you really start stretching for subject matter. Actually I thought this was a pretty intriguing shot. Made with the Canon G11 and a wide angle adapter. After that it was just a couple of Photoshop adjustments.
