Why this blog?

Even though I use nice DSLRs in my job, I love the freedom I get with a point-and-shoot camera. They are reminiscent of the old rangerfinder 35mm cameras. Today's P&S camera are easy to use and often give great images without being bulky or intrusive.

My goal here is to explore what can be done with these small but wonderful cameras.

One of our walks

If you follow this blog, you're probably going to tired of seeing images from our morning walks.  My wife, our dog and I try to take a long walk every day and I try to carry a camera every time.  Another thing you will learn about me is that I try to have a camera with me at all times.

These images were made with a Canon SD790 IS.
